Episode 070: Trading While Traveling – Part 2

“It’s the first time I feel like a true entrepreneur even though I’ve been an entrepreneur for like ten years.”

In part 2 of my interview with Marina Kuperman Villatoro from Travel Experta and The Trader Chick, we talk about the multiple ways she makes money online.

Marina has been running her popular travel blog for over 10 years but, when faced with the choice to either dramatically expand the blog and corresponding business or shift her focus to another passion, she chose to chase a new dream.

While she still maintains the travel blog, she has gone “all in” on her dream of being a full-time day trader. Marina now uses the stock market to earn a living while only day trading for 2-4 hours per hours a day.

“If somebody wants to get out of their 9-5 and doesn’t want to have a whole business for themselves, and make themselves the brand, and just wants to be completely location independent and work for themselves, day trading is definitely the way to go in my opinion.” – Marina Kuperman Villatoro

Now she aims to remove the fear and stigma around day trading by teaching other women just how accessible this form of income can be once you put in the time to learn the basics.

“It’s not like, ‘Oh shit! I’m about to lose it all!’ If you’re thinking that, it means you haven’t done your homework.” – Marina Kuperman Villatoro
