Episode 062: Global Nomad Mom – Part 2

“You know, sometimes I really think, ‘This is just too hard. I just can’t do it,’ and then other times I’m like, ‘I wouldn’t want to do anything else.’”

In part two of my interview with Mary Grace Otis, host of The Global Mom Show podcast, she goes into just how she and her husband have built their careers to suit their unconventional lifestyle.

“It really is a mind shift change because your work, kind of, does get incorporated to all aspects of your life.” – Mary Grace Otis

She talks about the learning curve that comes with starting your own location independent business and how being a mom actually helped her stay motivated.

“There’s nothing like having three mouths to feed to make you go out and try to figure what you’re gonna do.” – Mary Grace Otis

Mary Grace explains what her podcast is about and just how she is living the message of her podcast in her everyday life by making sure her three young boys grow up with global world views and live globally minded lives.

“It really started out with my need to connect with other moms with similar world views.” – Mary Grace Otis

We also discuss a variety of other types of work that can allow you to have more freedom in your life to spend with your own family or traveling to a new location.

“ … the more excuses that you make for yourself, the more you’re just going to stay where you are.” – Mary Grace Otis
