“It all sort of started with me being not interested in working for somebody else and using all of my bandwidth and my energy and time doing something that just didn’t light me up.”
This week’s guest is business and life coach, Kathleen Ventura. She and her husband have traveled or lived in 7 different countries, including a five month bicycle trip across the United States, and now she’s focused on helping others build a life around their priorities.
“And we just traveled really slowly because we were really into living in the place …”
She offers tips to make house sitting less awkward, and her advice to those seeking more freedom of choice in their life.
“… and I’m able to say yes to things like this because I can literally do my business anywhere that there is a WiFi signal; which works out really, really well for being able to, you know, enjoy the family and just relationships in the ways that we want. You know, not the ways that we’re permitted …”
She also discusses the one thing she thinks aspiring entrepreneurs should be aware of before they ever get started.
“… you’re gonna work several years of your life as an entrepreneur in a way that most people will not so that you can live the rest of your life in a way that most people, you know, can’t.”
