“We’ve never really wanted what could be characterized as the typical life.”
This week’s guests are Amber and Eric Hoffman from the popular travel blog (and recently launched podcast), With Husband in Tow. They’ve been traveling since July 2012 and have visited multiple countries across multiple continents.
“When you’re traveling and getting, you know, amazing experiences, it kind of quickly fades that you really liked your job.” – Eric
They talk about the struggles of constantly being on the move and how people react when they tell them they’re travel bloggers.
“There is this misconception that we’re all millionaires, or trust fund babies, or we’ve won the lottery.” – Eric
They also talk about how their love of food has a big impact on the places they visit and why they don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
“At the end we had changed as people. Travel has that effect on you. Yeah, I guess sort of the 9-5 lifestyle was just not really in the cards for us.” – Eric
