Episode 013: Quarter Life Epiphany – Part 1

“I had everything that I was supposed to want but it didn’t fulfill me.”

This week I speak with Stephanie from Quarter Life Epiphany about her experience living as an ex-pat in Thailand, Brazil, and Mexico and her travels to multiple other countries as well. It started as a vacation to Thailand and turned into an entirely new way of life.

“… then I took my first real vacation to Thailand and I was only supposed to spend ten days there and then somewhere around the half way point, I loved it so much I cancelled my plane ticket home and decided that I was going to stay there.”

We discuss how she regrets the way she broke the news to her loved ones, how she met her fiance by using Tinder in an unconventional way, and how getting rid of almost everything she owned was a positive thing.

“I don’t miss any of the things that got given away and I was happier having nothing but a backpack than I’d ever been having that whole apartment full of stuff.”
