“Chances are you’re not setting yourself up to have any big wins if you’re just following the same routine …”
In part 1 of my interview with Jon Bowes, we discuss a wide variety of topics including what brought him to his breaking point and deciding to take a 3 month trip to South America.
“I sold 90% of my stuff and I bought a one-way ticket to Peru.”
We also talk about the negatives of routines and the determine he felt when first starting his current business.
“I was going to start an online business and I was going to figure it out if it killed me.”
Jon also describes the scariest moment he encountered in all his travels around the world, involving following a man he barely knew into the jungle even though he had a machete and a shotgun and Jon was unarmed.
Another major topic we touch on is the negativity Jon experiences as a result of living an exciting and unconventional way and, more importantly, how he handles it.
“They’ll send me like a ‘I hate you, but I want your life’ type message.”
