Episode 005: The World Wanderers – Part 2

“When you’re working, especially when you’re working a job you don’t entirely like all that much, it can be really hard to save because you constantly feel this temptation to escape.”

In the final part of my interview with Ryan and Amanda from The World Wanderers, we discuss why it’s extremely important to have a solid vision of your goal when saving money for travel.

“This $10 meal I’m gonna buy for lunch at work could buy me […] a night at a cheap hostel if I’m in Peru.” – Ryan

They also talk about a simple way to earn free or discounted airfare that you don’t have to be a travel hacking genius to take advantage of.

One of the most interesting parts of the interview, however, involved the multiple organizations they mention that help people find free accommodation and meals while traveling.

“Traveling … I think a lot of people might expect it to be more expensive than it actually is.” – Ryan
