In today’s episode I am continuing my conversation with Chelsea Baldwin from Get Copy Power. We talk about the evolution of her business from interning in India to becoming a freelance blogger strugglig to find clients and now charging premium prices for her services and having clients come to her.
“So, I decided it would be better for me to have less clients; to be able to give more attention to those clients and just charge them more.” – Chelsea Baldwin
Chelsea provides an excellent resource that took her from wondering where her next client was coming from to being booked completely solid within a two month period.
“The system is very unsexy but it works very, very well.” – Chelsea Baldwin
We also spend a good amount of the interview talking about how to properly network. So many people go about it the wrong way and Chelsea provides some advice on how to do it without seeming spammy.
“It’s based on person-to-person relationships which is really important for working with clients because you’re working with a person.” – Chelsea Baldwin
