Episode 001: Nomadic Brits – Part 1

“Take that step. Quit that job. Stop paying those ridiculous amounts of bills for no reason and just get out there.”

This week’s guests are Lee and Tina from Look At Our World, also known as the Nomadic Brits, and in Part 1 of their interview we discuss how their nomadic journey began, where they’ve been, and where they’re going next.

After they both found themselves unemployed for different reasons, they decided it was the best time for them to make travel their number one priority.

They chose to explore their home first by traveling around the United Kingdom and in September 2015 their travels led them to spend a month in Spain. This month (February 2016) they are heading off on multi-country trip that will take them through to the end of the year.

They plan to check out Australia, New Zealand, and Asia but are leaving the details, dates, and destinations open for adaption.

“The only thing that governs both of us is our interests and what we like to go and see.” – Tina

In this episode we’ll also talk about their favorite place they’ve been to so far, what websites they use to find amazing deals on flights and bus trips, how they find free accommodation, and even an uncomfortable experience with a host involving drugs.

Be sure to check out Part 2 of their interview where we discuss how they get free meals, hotel stays, and even actual money during their travels just by using skills they have taught themselves.
